February through April 2025 marked the lifespan of a 62% correction in Ethereum. This period coincided with the beginning of Trump’s global shocks, as he threatened to impose tariffs on nations around the world. Let’s look at the charts to see exactly why I took the trade and how it has unfolded so far.

Looking at the bottom of the 62% drop we had at the beginning of this year, we can see that we were not able to break below the 2022 lows. We got close, but all we did was form a double bottom. Remember, $1,417 was the all-time high from 2018. This resistance point has become a strong support level—it held firm during the 2022 correction and again during the 2025 correction.
The Trade:
I started buying the moment we began selling off into the red supply zone. As you can see on the chart, this is an area where a low was established, followed by a year-long range before price broke out of the supply zone and moved higher.
How the Trade Is Going:
I ended up with an average price per coin of $1,917. As I write this, I’m currently up 111% on the trade. Price rebounded sharply out of the supply zone and moved north to retest that strong resistance area around $3,700. Bears attempted to reject price at $3,700 but failed. As shown on the chart, $3,700 has now flipped into a support zone.
Where the Trade Could Go:
I expect a run to the all-time high of $4,867.81, where I anticipate heavy selling pressure. This is common behavior in markets. Once we reach that level, we’ll need to see what price action tells us. If we get consolidation at $4,867.81, it would indicate that the selling pressure was absorbed and we’ll likely see another leg higher into new all-time highs. My personal target is around the $7,500 area.
